Matt Schwartz, Esq.

Matt Schwartz is a partner at Garrison & Sisson, where he heads the Associate Division. Matt was formerly the executive director of the Washington, D.C. office of another top attorney search firm and is regarded as among the foremost experts in associate attorney placement; he has been recruiting lawyers for more than eight years.

Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Matt was a transactional associate at Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells); before that he was a litigation associate at Howrey. His legal training and previous employment in the field, his personal experience transitioning from litigation to corporate law, and his broad experience recruiting in Washington, DC enable Matt to offer clients sound counsel on career transitions and career tracks. He is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and received his undergraduate degree from Brown University.
